UPDATE: To all those who watched Belaire’s awesome encore performance of “Back Into the Wall” and noticed something a little off, well there was- about 8 frames worth! I fixed it, so go check it out, it’s even sweeter the second time!
For all of you who were at the show and have been waiting- the Belaire videos from 4/25/08 at the Mohawk are finally up! There was a slight delay in release due to audio, but we are glad we waited, the songs sound great, a special thanks to Danny Reisch for the sweet audio mixes.
For anyone who was there that night, Belaire playing at all was unlikely due to bad weather. It was still raining during Yellow Fever’s set- and lightning lit up the sky plenty during the Black & White Years show. Never the less, Belaire delivered an energetic live performance under the cover of a projector lit tent, complete with a little crowd interaction (about two-thirds through) and an encore from their self-titled EP (Indierect). For any of you who missed their free show tonight at Emo’s, they are playing with The Carrots, Hornet Leg, and the New Bloods at Emo’s June 10. Check out pictures from the show below, more from Yellow Fever and the Black & White Years coming soon!
