Dead Confederate has their new full length Wrecking Ball coming out September 16, and have offered up a FREE download of “The Rat”, go head and snag that below. Dead Confederate is another one of those amazing bands from Georgia, blah, blah, blah. While recording their album in Austin, they played a show with The Black Angel’s Christian Bland, and they also opened up for R.E.M’s SXSW show this year at Stubb’s. People have always described them as a ‘wall of sound’ which is completely true- especially in the live setting, where mass amounts of reverb and Hardy’s likeness to Kurt Cobain come alive. They will be in Austin September 26 at Emo’s, with Heartless Bastards and Wax Fang, tickets go on sale tomorrow for $15-17, right here.
