Here’s a new thing we are trying out, we are going to post a short from each show we shoot. Who better to start with than Dean Spunt of No Age playing drums in the green room of Emo’s? He starts off sort of jazzy, but it really picks up at the end. There is something raw about a man and his drums. Enjoy.
No Age played an intense show last week at Emo’s with Abe Vigoda, Infinite Body, and the Strange Boys. We grabbed a few stills, you can peep ‘em here. Abe Vigoda’s Skeleton is out today, love the cover art, love this band. They are on PPM Records along with Mika Miko, Party Fowl, and No Age (derrrh). Abe Vigoda is steadily touring, hooking up with Mika, Titus Andronicus, and Ponytail before the end the summer and playing a Pitchfork Fest after party at Schuba’s in Chi-town- a city I will be frequenting in less than a month!
Full length videos from last week’s show coming soon to an anti-blog near you. The best song of last week’s show:
