« IHEARTCOMIX invades Austin

IHEARTCOMIX is having one of its’ five CD Release parties in Austin tonight with Radioclit, Drop the Lime, and Franki Chan at -where else- the Beauty Bar. Franki Chan, label head for IHEARTCOMIX records, is best known for releasing Matt and Kim’s 2006 album and throwing insane events. I prefer to know him as the guy who brought the words ‘Fucking Awesome‘ to the forefront of brightly colored poster art and somewhat resembles a Spanish Indiana Jones (top right).
This is one of those free Scion events with free cds, but to gain entry you must rsvp here. So make your way down to the pink neon tonight, where they will be giving away the IHEARTCOMIX/Scion mixtape at the show. The L.A. Riots/Scion mixtape during SXSW was a steal- from the drunk guy at Sidebar- thanks again man!
