switchburn, is looking for summer/fall interns. If you are interested in music and video, this may be the internship for you. We are looking for interns in the following areas:
Video:
- Shooters: filming live shows, camera experience a plus.
- Post Production: editing in Final Cut Pro, any FCP experience a plus.
Audio:
- Live Recording: stereo mic/pro tools operation, any background in sound is a plus.
- Post Production: mix down tracks after show
*Shooters and audio recording hours can run from 8pm to 2am on any day of the week, but usually fall between Thursday and Sunday. Typically, interns are needed for 10-15 hours per week.
Basic knowledge in any of the above is a plus when applying for this internship. Mostly, interested folk must be motivated to learn, gain real world experience and have a passion for music and/or video. Those interested will work with top of the line audio and video equipment and gain truly valuable hands-on experience.
This is currently an unpaid internship.

switchburn is an independently owned and operated collaborative of audio and video folks. We over 100 bands and 250 videos on switchburn. Our videos are shot in local clubs under challenging conditions and we still release high-quality video to the web at a faster pace then most.
switchburn is dedicated to supporting the independent music scene as this is the music that matters most. As stated, we have collaborated with over 100 international, national and local, Austin bands.
