The Laughing is three dudes, and consists of one sax, sweet electronic melodies, and some gnarly blue face paint. Til We’re Blue or Destroy has more members than Menudo (I love when the band is the crowd in the audience). But their sound is wholesomely awesome. "All Shook Up" is pure quality from beginning to end and any band with a horns section wins in my book. The Carrots are the adorable 60’s influenced girl pop band, and are going on a national tour starting in May. "Kissing and Telling" is best described as the song you would hear in the high school dance scene of an old movie; easy to sing to, fun, and full of teen love themes. Many Birthdays is an electro Austin/Japan collab, (how does that work?) and includes Jorge Balarezo (AKA Abominatron), so I’m already a fan. "Black Crow Remix" is kind of a jam, now if only someone could get The Black Crowes to be less horrible.
